COMMUNITIES OFGALE RANCH IV

Tucked back in the rolling hills of San Ramon, California, the Communities of Gale Ranch IV Owners Association consists of 238 single family homes in three distinct home styles. The homes surround a beautiful recreation center with a pool, spa, splash pad, fitness center and community room that are perfectly designed for families and entertaining.

With an abundance of shopping centers, parks, hiking trails and top rated schools in close proximity, you can remain connected to the surrounding community while still being able to enjoy your personal sanctuary.

The pool and spa are now officially open for the summer! The pool is currently heated to the recommended temperature of 80 degrees. The swimming pool rules are attached here and are also available for review online. We thank all residents in advance for adhering to the pool rules and reminding others to do so as well to ensure another safe swim season. 
 
There is no lifeguard on duty. Each owner is responsible for ensuring the safety of their family and guests.
 
As many of you know, we have been working on ensuring that our facility remains available to Gale Ranch and Amarante homeowners and residents only. All pool users must have a key with them to enter the pool area. Please do not open the gate for anyone who does not have a key.
 
There are a couple of items that the Board wants to remind all owners of to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the pool.
  • Glass containers are not allowed at the pool. Do not bring beer, champagne or other glass bottles to the pool.
  • All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
  • Please be mindful of how long you have the water running when taking a shower! The showers are meant for rinsing off only and we are looking at another long summer with potential drought mandates.
  • Do not use any devices to prop the gates open. This is a serious safety risk as a child may wander into the pool area alone. Additionally, the County Health Department requires that the gates remain closed at all times.
  • Please do not open the gate for anyone who does not have a key.
  • Please remember to remove all trash and food scraps when you leave the pool area to help prevent ants. If you bring any large pizza or cake boxes, please take the resulting trash home with you for disposal rather than clogging up the trash cans. Small waste items such as water bottles, paper scraps, etc. can be dumped in the trash cans on site.

Possible Mail Theft from Mailboxes on Alpine Blue

We were informed recently of a possible mail theft from the cluster mailboxes on Alpine Blue Drive. All six of the mailboxes were opened without any visual evidence of tampering. A police report has been filed on behalf of the community, but we want everyone to be aware and on the lookout for any possible criminal activity as a result of this suspected theft. If you would like to file a police report with the SRPD, you can use the following police report number to add your report to the existing report:  SR22100138
 
In addition to filing a police report, you can also contact the USPS Postal Inspection Service if you believe you have been a victim of mail theft. Their number is 877-876-2455. They suggest that each homeowner file a separate case with specifics of their mail theft loss. 
 
We have spoken with the San Ramon Post Office on behalf of the community and requested that they upgrade the USPS master lock and key to a newer, high-security lock, however, we do not have a time frame when this might be completed at this time. We recommend that residents register for a complimentary service from the USPS called Informed Delivery (https://informeddelivery.usps.com/) which delivers a daily email with a scan of your mail to be delivered that day.
